Trakka Trakkadu

The Trakkadu is based on Volkswagen’s latest T5 Transporter LWB and adds to Trakka’s award winning range.

The Trakkadu continues a long tradition for Trakka, which started building VW Kombi campervan conversions more than three decades ago. Like all Trakka products the Trakkadu has been researched and designed in Australia for use in Australia’s unique travel environment.

Trakka’s experience and knowledge has enabled them to produce a motorcamper that exceeds the stringent Australian industry regulations and safety standards to ensure occupant safety, vehicle integrity and high quality performance.
Trakkadu has Full Volume Australian Design Rule (ADR) Approval No 35439.

Trakka’s constant quest for innovation and improvement has led to new features like a composite, tilt elevating roof, integrated solar panels and TV antenna, a multi-functional seat/bed on rails and an electronic control panel for optimum management of electric power and water.

The Trakkadu drives like a performance car and the most popular model, powered by Volkswagen’s acclaimed 2.5 litre five-cylinder turbo diesel engine, boasts 128 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque combined with either six-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmissions.
